Sophomores Meet Their Mentors
After weeks of connection-building, shared stories, and growing community, our sophomores and their mentors have officially been paired! What began as conversations and curiosity now blossoms into a year of guidance, encouragement, and possibility. As support turns into confidence and curiosity fuels new paths, we can’t wait to see the meaningful relationships that will take shape.

Summer Programs Exploration Begins!
Sophomores and juniors across both of sites have begun researching a wide range of summer program opportunities offered at universities across the country! From academic enrichment to leadership development to hands-on career exploration, students are diving into possibilities that can broaden their horizons and strengthen their future college applications.
We’re excited to see their interests take shape as they discover programs that inspire, challenge, and empower them to grow!
Juniors Dive Into College Exploration
Our juniors are shaping their vision for life beyond high school! They’re diving into the world of higher education with the guidance of their mentors, exploring a wide variety of universities, large and small, public and private, near and far. With these supportive conversations, students are reflecting on what truly matters to them in a college experience. From campus culture and academic programs to location and available support systems, they’re beginning to define their priorities and what they want in their future university home.
Seniors Closing In on the Finish Line!
Our seniors are in the final stretch! They are wrapping up their college applications and completing their FAFSA and other financial aid forms—important steps that bring them closer to their post-secondary goals.
We’re so proud of their hard work and excited to see the doors they’re opening for their future!
University of Portland- College Visit
Students from our Hillsboro and NE Portland sites took a trip to the University of Portland to get a closer look at college life!
During the visit, our Sophomores and Juniors connected with current UP students, toured the campus, and enjoyed lunch in the dining hall. The day ended on a high note with a fun game of Imposter, giving everyone a chance to laugh, compete, and bond.
Thanks to all our students and to our partners at UP for bringing such enthusiasm and making the day an unforgettable experience.
