So far, college acceptances include Barnard College, Macalester College, University of Oregon, University of Rochester, Bates College…and more 😉 Stay tuned for more updates!
Career Day-Recap! 🎉
Our Career Day event was a success!
Students came together with 40 local professionals across a range of industries for honest, meaningful conversations about college, careers, and more. We matched our students and volunteers based on career interests and shared experiences. Our students shared that their conversations were beneficial and that they learned a lot!
We're so grateful to everyone who showed up and provided insight and inspiration to our students. We look forward to integrating the feedback we're gathering to make next year's event bigger and better!
Volunteer Spotlight✨
Class Lead- Reem!
Reem, a passionate and devoted Class Lead at our Hillsboro site for sophomores, does more than facilitate our Saturday sessions—she inspires confidence and opens doors for our students. “I care deeply about mentorship and helping students access opportunities they might not otherwise have,” she shares. She has witnessed the impact of our program firsthand: “Seeing my students celebrate their acceptance into a summer program was unforgettable,”and “Watching a student find the confidence to share their voice was incredibly meaningful.”
For Reem, mentorship is about helping students see that their dreams are within reach. Through her guidance and support, students gain both knowledge and the courage to step boldly into their future.
